Bud, Not Buddy [130 KB]
Christopher Paul Curtis
The uniqueness of this book is not in the story-line -- about a 10 year old Bud Caldwell, who is pretty much capable of looking after himself, thanks to the circumstances he finds himself in, and ultimately finds what he is looking for. It is the author’s hilarious style together with his deep understanding of children, which he imaginatively expresses in the form of “Bud Caldwell's Rules and Things to Have a Funnier Life and Make a Better Liar of Yourself” that makes the book truly enjoyable and touching. There is plenty to learn from this story.
