Background

Four lines can make many closed figures. These figures have four sides and are called quadrilaterals.

Aim

Construct different quadrilaterals.

Activities

Choose 4 sticks of identical length. Make a closed figure making sure that the ends of sticks meet.

How many different looking quadrilaterals can you make?

Keep the sticks on paper and trace the boundary using a pencil so as to draw the quadrilateral on paper.
