Numbers With Five Three's

Activities

With the help of five three's and the mathematical operation signs represent 100, 37 and 10.

33 x 3 + 3/3 = 100.

Solution

100: 33 x 3 + 3/3 = 100.

37: There are two solutions: 33 + 3 + 3/3 = 37; 33 / (3 x 3) = 37

10: 33/3 - 3/3 = 10.

It's worth mentioning that the problem would have had exactly the same solution if we had to express 10 with five ones, five fours, five sevens, five nines, or, in general, with any five identical digits. In fact:
11/1 - 1/1 = 22/2 - 2/2 = 44/4 - 4/4 = 99/9 - 9/9, etc.
Also, there are other solutions to the problem: (3 x 3 x 3)/3 + 3/3 = 10
